Tour the West is based in Boulder, Colorado. All tours are catered to each guest. Whether you want your tour to center around wildlife viewing or scenic photography, we can accommodate that. Just let us know! All tours include personalized dining options and entrance fees into national grounds.

Tours are guided in a spacious, all-wheel-drive Ford passenger van with a high roof and EcoBoost engine. The van can accommodate 14 passengers.

Each vehicle comes equipped with binoculars for every guest, a professional-grade spotting scope, rain gear, sunscreen, a first aid kit, and other essentials to keep you comfortable and prepared for the adventure ahead.

Tour the West founder Itai Boneh grew up in Boulder, Colorado, where time in the Rocky Mountains fostered his love for nature. With a Master’s in Environmental Science from Yale University, he began his career as an environmental consultant before realizing his passion for guiding. Today, Itai combines his expertise and enthusiasm to share the beauty of the natural world with others.
